Kenneth P. Burst

Kenneth Paul Burst, born on November 1, 1978, passed away December 15, 2017, at the age of 39. He was a lifelong native of Metairie, Louisiana, he passed away at home. He is survived by his loving wife, Dana Gibson Burst, and also the loving father of his son Evan Paul Burst. Son of Roy E. Burst, Jr. and Cheryl Hoyle Burst. Brother to Lara Burst Thomas (Arnold), Roy E. Burst III, and Kris John Burst. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Roy E. Burst, Sr., Beulah Voekel Burst, Harry P. Hoyle and Thelma Hemmerling Hoyle. He is survived by many nieces & nephews. He was a fun-loving man with a wonderful laugh and an awesome smile. He enjoyed fishing, especially with his son Evan. Kenneth was a veteran of the United States Navy. He will greatly be missed by all who knew and loved him. Friends and family are invited to attend a Visitation at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie, Louisiana on Thursday, December 28th from 6 – 9 PM.
