Kenneth King McColley, age 67, passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2012. He was a native and lifelong resident of Metairie, LA. Beloved son of the late Mac McColley and Dorothy McMurry McColley. Cousin of Vitrice McMurry of New Orleans, LA, Charles and Mark Price of Hattiesburg, MS, Barbara Grimes of Tuscaloosa, AL, Becky Dillistone of Ocean Springs, MS, Webb Wilder of Nashville, TN and Curry McMurry of Morrison, CO. Beloved friend of Alan DeLaughter and Dick Rogers. Mr. McColley worked for 15 years as groundskeeper at Lafreniere Park and was also the groundskeeper at Our Lady of Divine Providence Church for many years. A memorial service was held at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd., in Metairie, LA on Thursday afternoon, October 25, 2012 at 1:30 PM. Inurnment was in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
