Kevin Allen Mills

With heavy hearts we say good bye to our brother Kevin Allen Mills. On July 17th 2021, he joined all of the loved ones who have preceded him in death. His parents Herbert E. Mills, Jr. and Beryl A. Emerson Mills, his older brother Steven H. Mills, his godson Jasen R. Jones and the love of Kevin's life, Rita Ranatza Mills. He is survived by his brother Gary Mills (Janet), and he passed away peacefully surrounded by his sisters, Lisa A. Mills Matherne, her husband Jerry, and Lauri A. (Missy) Mills Heckler, and her husband Bruce. He was blessed with many nieces and nephews who will deeply miss their uncle.

Kevin will always be remembered for his quick wit and infectious personality. He loved to cook and spend his time with his many friends and family. He attended Lutheran High School in New Orleans and John Curtis in River Ridge. He grew up in River Ridge and has lived there most of his 61 years.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2021 from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie, Louisiana. A Memorial Service for Kevin will begin at 5:00 pm in the Chapel. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
