Lavinia "Lea" Magdalene Palmisano Arndt

Lavinia “Lea” Arndt, on Monday, August 23, 2010. Beloved wife of the late Forrest Arndt and Edlloyd Burgess. Loving mother of Raymond Burgess, Sr. (Jeannine), Diane Roddy, Judy Guirovich, and the late Herman Burgess. Grandmother of 10, great grandmother of 22, and great-great grandmother of 10. Sister of Magdaleine Peterson and Shirley Schneider (Morris). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 288. A native of New Orleans and a resident of Harahan for the past 26years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Chapel of Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Dr., Metairie, on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at 11:00 am. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until Mass time. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Canon Hospice, 1221 S.
