Lillian DeBlanc Kirsch went to join her Lord and Savior on Tuesday August 23, 2011 at 3:50 a.m. Beloved wife of the late Joseph A. Kirsch Sr. Loving mother of Sharon Nazimowitz (and husband, Max), Charlene Negrotto (and husband, Danny), Mary Lee Holliday and the late Joseph A. Kirsch Jr. and Cyril P. Kirsch. Mother-in-law of Ruby R. Kirsch. Devoted grandmother of Laura, Kelly, Nina, Larry, Kyle, Jason, Chris, Karl and Jeffrey. Proud great-grandmother of Kristen, Michael, Sam K., Hannah, Sam P., Clare, Julia, Sophia, Zoe and Miles. Sister of David J. DeBlanc. Daughter of the late Alice Smith and Derneville DeBlanc. Preceded in death by her other brothers and sister, survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and her beloved pet, Josie. Mrs. Kirsch was a former Parishioner of St. Dominic Catholic Church in Lakeview, member of the Ladies of Madonna and will be loved and missed by all who knew her. Aged 94 years, born in Waco, Texas and a lifelong resident of New Orleans, Louisiana. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass from Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home Chapel 4747 Veterans Blvd. Metairie, Louisiana on Thursday morning August 25, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery.
