Lillian Stein died at Metairie, LA on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at the age of 89 years. Wife of the late William Stein, Jr. Beloved mother of Dr. William Stein III (Mary) and Mark S. Stein (Amy). She is survived by seven grandchildren, Dr. William IV, Natalie, Benjamin, Jeffrey, Andrew, Melissa and Gregory Stein; two great grandchildren, William V (Quint) and Ava Stein.
Graveside services will take place at Hebrew Rest Cemetery No. 3, Frenchmen at Pelopidas St. on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at 12:00 Noon with Rabbi Edward Paul Cohn and Cantor Joel Coleman officiating.
