Mrs. Lillie B. Berchenko Green

Lillie Berchenko Green passed away on Monday, April 25, 2011 at the age of 96. She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband of 60 years, Emanuel Green, and 8 sisters and brothers. She was the loving mother of Rochelle Green Sackett and Barry Dennis Green (Kathy); cherished grandmother of Renee Sackett, Sheri Sackett, Brian Sackett, Heather Green and Samuel Green. Great grandmother of Justin Sackett, Joshua Kay and Erin Kay; and many loving nieces and nephews. In addition, she was the cherished life-long friend of Pauline Malkove.

The family wishes to thank her sitters, Sharon, Trudy, Regina and Jewel, who cared for her with gentleness and compassion. Also the staff at Woldenberg Village and Odyssey Hospice for their concern, and the residents of Woldenberg Village for their friendship.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at 11:00 AM from Ahavas Sholem Cemetery, 4400 Elysian Fields Ave, New Orleans with Rabbi Ethan Linden officiating.
