Linda Brayden

Linda Ann Martin Brayden passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday evening, July 21, 2016. She was 66 years old. Loving mother of Robert Brayden (Renee), Chris Brayden (Shannon), and Barbara Brayden. Grandmother of Hannah Brayden, Rebecca Brayden, Addison Brayden, and Avery Brayden. Sister of Gayle Gallodoro (Dale), Diane Breaux (Randal), and the late Charles Francis Martin. Beloved daughter of the late Leverne Tratia Martin and Charles Cassidy Martin Jr. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Linda was a lifelong resident of the New Orleans Area, and graduated from Archbishop Chapelle High School. She retired from Entergy after a lengthy and dedicated 43 years of service. Linda was an active member of AARP, serving as president for some time, and a member of Harahan Senior Living Center. She was also an active parishioner of Divine Mercy Parish, and enjoyed coin collecting and cross stitching. Her greatest love was her family, who will all miss her dearly. Relatives and Friends of the family are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial from DIVINE MERCY, 4337 Sal Lentini Parkway, Kenner, on Tuesday afternoon, July 26, 2016 at 1:00. Visitation will begin in church at 11:00 in the morning. Interment will follow in All Saints Mausoleum, within Metairie Cemetery, New Orleans.
