

Linda Gail O’Sullivan, 75, of Destrehan, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2026. She was born on October 31, 1950, in El Dorado, Arkansas, to Wilson Garner Britt and Margaret Claudean Britt. Linda was a long-time employee of Capital One, where she worked as an IT Help Desk Manager for many years. She took great pride in her career and the many friendships she formed throughout her years of working.
Linda lived life to the fullest and loved traveling the world with her husband, John, creating memories and sharing adventures along the way. She found great joy in spending time in her gardens, connecting with lifelong friends, and making memories with her daughters and grandchildren, who lovingly knew her as a devoted mother and grandmother.
Linda’s love of travel took her to many wonderful places, and she treasured the experiences and friendships she made throughout her life. She had a warm and welcoming spirit, a genuine love for others, and a way of making the people around her feel special. Her kindness, laughter, friendship, and love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Linda is survived by her children, Ria O’Sullivan (Martin Adam Eilers), Nicole O’Sullivan, and Alexis-Jayne O’Sullivan; her grandchildren, McKinley Mitchell, Jackson Eilers, Madison Eilers, Kyleigh O’Sullivan, Kennedi Waguespack, Joseph Waguespack, Korie O’Sullivan, Noah Waguespack, and Beck O’Sullivan.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, John Weir O’Sullivan; her parents, Wilson Garner Britt and Margaret Claudean Britt; and her daughter, Stephanie Britt Skidmore.
Linda will be remembered for her love of family, her beautiful gardens, her lifelong friendships, her adventurous spirit, and most of all, the countless memories she created with the people she loved. Her love and presence will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
The family will hold a private celebration of life in Linda’s honor.
