Lois Marie Lagarde , age 75 passed away on November 13, 2014. Beloved Aunt to Brandon J. Lagarde & William “Billy” Lagarde Jr. and Great Aunt to Gabrielle Lagarde and Christian Cefalu. Ms. Lagarde had a tremendous passion and love for her animals, (Teddy, Tootsie, Munchkin & Angel). She is preceded in death by her father – Wesley J. Lagarde, mother Noemie Pollet Lagarde and her brother William J. Lagarde. Ms. Lagarde worked for many years for the State of Louisiana. Ms. Lagarde requested that in lieu of flowers, donations please be sent to Animal Rescue of New Orleans, 271 Plauche Street, Harahan, LA 70123 in her name. Friends and relatives are invited to attend the memorial gathering at St. Ann Church at 3601 Transcontinental Dr., Metairie, on Monday, November 17, 2014 at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Mass at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, New Orleans.
