The ears of Lois's friends and family members will miss her unique   linguistics such as  "      erster,terlet,earl,and tyenol(oyster toilet,oil, and telenol).We all knew what she meantbut delighted in unique English.As her son in law for nearly53 years she never interfered in marriage and only offered open-ended  assistance to  Marilyn and I.I once told her she took so many meds that when she died Rx industry would have layoffs.I only hope  that I have her      strong will to plow ahead and not get down with all her illnesses when I get on as I age.R.I.P maw maw

Lois now that you are having that big family reunion in heaven with your mom and dad, and of course, all of our aunts and uncles tell everyone hello for me especially my mother and dad.
Now you really know how much I loved you.  Almost 11 years ago I moved in with you; little did I know we would get such a strong bond between us.  When I was growing up I thought you were this real cool mom (and you were).  You were such a great mom to Marilyn.  I thought you would be easy to live with and you were. We won't bring up the fact that you liked it a tad warmer than I did or you would nickname me "hot mama".
How we would laugh when you would say something that didn't mean something to our conversation but 99% of the time I knew what you meant and would answer correctly. You would say that only Marilyn and I would know what you meant.  That was so true.
No matter where we went you would always keep me laughing.   If I was depressed you would tell me a lame joke or do something to help me laugh
I will never forget our casino trips.  
Laughing as I helped you get on the high beds.  Sometimes laughing so hard at times I barely made it to the bathroom.  No matter where we went you left a lasting impression. You loved your casinos, bus trips to the casino, bingo at the Senior Center in Harahan, and the Bunco games at Rayanne's house.
You will be missed by everyone but especially your whole family including me.

Maw Maw Lois welcomed everyone into her family with open arms.  She loved a good time and especially her amazing family.  I’m praying for you all.  Heaven has an angel for sure.  Love you all, the Barracos.

We will miss her. Lois was undoubtedly the most joyful person in our family. She always had a ready smile and I can not remember a bad word every coming from her while growing up.  Jesus certainly has another star in heaven.
