Miss Amato was my third grade teacher at Andrew Jackson Elementary School on Camp St in 1955/56. I remember her well. She was a wonderful teacher so understanding and nice as she could be. I didn't want to leave her class and she would come in my new class to settle me down , more then once I might add. May she rest in peace always. Prayers to the family.
