Louis Reck

Louis Reck, age 91, passed away on Wednesday, August 11, 2010. Beloved husband of 64years to the late Elva Bayard Reck. Loving father of Elva (Susie) Saltaformaggio (wife of Dominic) and Cynthia (Cindy) Richard (wife of Allen). Grandfather of Dominic, Jr., Louis, Joseph and Anthony Saltaformaggio, Allen Richard, Jr., Angelle Rosata and Louis Richard. Great-grandfather of Robert, Anthony Jr., Katie, Joseph Jr., Christian, Brendan, Julian, Trinity, Gino, Nico, Luciano, Maggie and Isabella Saltaformaggio; Jonathan and Hailee Richard, Emily and Abbie Rosata and Lane and Riley Richard. Brother of the late Andrew and Joseph Reck, Josephine Leche, Marie Potier, Jeanne Palmer and Robert and Ernest Reck. Son of the late John Isidore and Charlotte Albe Reck. Survived by a host of nieces and nephews. He was a WWII Veteran, U.S.M.C. and a member of the Carpenters Local, American Legion and VFW. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to the Funeral at Center of Jesus the Lord Church, 1236 N. Rampart St., New Orleans on Saturday, August 14, 2010 at12:00 pm. Visitation will begin at 9:30 am at the church. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Center of Jesus the Lord Church.
