Louise LaGrange

Beloved wife of the late Oscar D. Huggins by first marriage and the late Jean W. LaGrange by second marriage.

Loving mother of Charlotte Letellier, John “Buddy” Huggins, Tony Huggins, Paul Huggins and Jacqueline Kelly.

Caring step-mother of Michael “Bobby” LaGrange, Edward Huggins, Oscar Huggins Jr., Nina Taylor and Mary Lee Falco.

Daughter of the late Etta Mims and Jas Naylor.

Preceded in death by her brother Pete and sisters Gertrude and Clara. She is also survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Miss Lou was retired from Schwegmann Brothers Giant Supermarket after many years of service as a cashier. She will be loved and missed by all who knew her.

She was a native of McWilliams, Alabama and a resident of Metairie, Louisiana for the past 45 years.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home Chapel 4747 Veterans Blvd. Metairie, on Tuesday morning April 10, 2012 beginning at 9:00 a.m. A prayer service will be at 11:00 a.m. with interment in Garden of Memories Cemetery following.
