

Lucille Marie Catalanotto Elkins was born March 16, 1939, in New Orleans, Louisiana to Thomas and Florence Mortellaro Catalanotto, passed away peacefully from this life at 2:50 am, on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, in her daughter Erin's home; where she resided in Metairie, Louisiana. Lucille married the love of her life Ralph Milas Elkins on May 25, 1958. Mr. Elkins preceded his loving wife in death on May 27, 2015. She is survived by their 3 beloved children; Lori (PL) Parault; Eric (Shannon) Elkins; Erin Hughes (Chip King); 9 grandchildren Kaitlen King (Steven Goins); Cody (Ashlie) Richardson; Korey (Heather) Richardson; Bryan (Mallory) Elkins; Jamiane Hughes; Amy Elkins; Sarah (JP) Casey; Sam Gamble; and Joey Mangiafico; 14 great-grandchildren, a sister JoAnn Catalanotto, 2 nieces Kristen (Terry) Reese; Sarah Catalanotto; a nephew Scott(Callie) Catalanotto; several great-nieces and great-nephews; cousins, friends too numerous to name, all loved just the same.
Mrs. Lucille, as she was affectionately known, was beloved by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Visitation at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd. in Metairie on Friday, June 2, 2023, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. A second Visitation will take place on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at Madden Funeral Home, 371 N. 3rd St. in Ashdown, Arkansas from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm with Visitation the following day from 12:00 pm until Funeral Services at 2:00 pm.
