Lynne Plonsky Dimm passed away on September 29, 2026, at age 90. She is the daughter of the late Lillian Geissler Plonsky and Gerald Joseph Plonsky. She is preceded in death by her children, Douglas G. Dimm and Darcy L. Dimm. Survived by her grandson, Dwayne D. Dimm (Amanda), along with her cousins, Anne Zoller, Donald Geissler (Hazel), Eddie Murray (Betty), Jerry Murray (Anita), and Debra Billot (Chilly).
Lynne was a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, and grew up in the Metairie-Kenner area before moving to Baton Rouge to be closer to her grandson. She owned Dimm's Garden Center and the Christmas Cottage. Later in life, she was a landscape contractor and owner of Lynne Dimm's nursery, all of which were in Kenner, LA.
A Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at All Saints Mausoleum in Metairie Cemetery, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA, 70124, at 12:00 PM.
