Margarretta L. Schule

Margarretta L. Schule, age 98, passed away on June 16, 2020. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana to her parents, the late Maurice and Vera Woodruff Leonard. She is preceded in death by her husband of nearly 50 years, August C. Schule; brother, Maurice "Buddy" Leonard; sister, Vera Claire "Red" Malter; and a granddaughter, Lori C. Ritzmann. She is survived by her children, Toni S. Ritzmann (Gary), Charles G. Schule (Terry), and Terrie S. Adoue (Don); grandchildren, Stacey Boheman (James), Gary Ritzmann, Jr., Jason Ritzmann (Jenna), Christopher Schule (Wendi), John Ritzmann (Jenna), Jeremy Adoue (Olga); great-grandchildren, Emily Ritzmann, Margaret "Maggie" Ritzmann, Katie Ritzmann, Cole Boheman, Andrew Ritzmann, Lexie Adoue, Emily Adoue, and Emma Ritzmann.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of Wynhoven Health Care Center in Marrero for the personal touch they provided to care for our mother over the years.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie, Louisiana on June 25, 2020 at 11:00 am. Visitation with the family will begin at 9:30 am - 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Restlawn Park Cemetery, 4040 Hwy. 90, Avondale, Louisiana.
