Maria Teresa Ibarra, age 78, passed away on Monday, June 28, 2010. Beloved wife of the late Benjamin A. Ibarra. Loving mother of Benni Ibarra (Rose), Fernando Ibarra (Norma) and Elida I. Abadie (Alan). Grandmother of Whitney, Jacob and Matthew Ibarra and Andrew Abadie. Daughter of the late Elida Arguello and Fernando Arguello. Sister of Narciso Arguello and the late Leonidas Arguello. Mrs. Ibarra was a native of Nicaragua and a resident of Kenner, LA. The family would like to thank Dr. Stacy McDonald at Ochsner Hospital and the nurses and staff at Canon Hospice. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Thursday, July 1, 2010 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, in Metairie.
