Marian Marie Olivier

Marian M. Olivier passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late Leslie J. Olivier, Sr. Loving mother of Leslie J. Olivier, Jr. (Lori), Lori O. Roger (Lowell), Sue LeBoeuf (Brian) and the late Michael Olivier. Memère of Joe Olivier (Sherry), Elizabeth Landers (Matthew), Amanda Roger, Rachel Lake (Brad), Sarah Ficarra (Mark), Nicole Bruhn (Brian), Jacob Olivier, Nicholas Roger, Cody LeBoeuf and Katie LeBoeuf. Sister of Doris Clesi (Frank) and Barbara Wingerter (Phil). Also survived by 6 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A native of New Orleans, LA and long time resident of Metairie/ Kenner area. Marian graduated from the University of New Orleans at the tender age of 74 as the oldest woman graduate ever. She retired after a long tenure at the LSU Medical Center.

The family would like to thank Hospice Compassus for their care over the past year.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Visitation beginning at 10:00 AM followed by the Funeral Service at 1:00 PM at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA on Friday, March 9, 2012. Interment in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
