IN THE CARE OF

Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home

Marianne Ciaccio Laporte, age 80, of New Orleans, Louisiana passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving friends and family on Wednesday, January 5, 2022. Marianne was born to the late Ephraim A. Ciaccio, Jr., and Sara Saputo Ciaccio. She is survived by her devoted husband of 59 years, Ronald Adam Laporte, her son, Ronald Adam Laporte, Jr., and her brother, Salvator A. Ciaccio.

Marianne enjoyed cooking and being around those she loved, including her four-legged family members. Her door was always open for entertaining. She was a joy to be around; laughing, sharing stories, and making memories. She loved shopping, was always dressed to the nines, and lit up the room when she walked in. She had a special talent for forging and maintaining life-long friendships, including: Kay, Gwen, Sylvia, Peggy, Jimmy, Nancy, Paul and Kathy, among many others. Marianne will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A private inurnment will be held at a later date. Special thanks to the staff of Heart of Hospice, especially nurse Susan Sims, during this difficult time. The family asks that donations be made in Marianne's honor to Precious Souls Sanctuary in Hammond, Louisiana.
