Marie Greco Duffourc died on August 15, 2016 at the age of 99 years old. Beloved wife of 70 years to the late Rene’ C. Duffourc, Jr. Mother to Linda Duffourc Sharp (Edmond), Dr. Rene’ C. Duffourc, III (Beverly). Grandmother of Marlene Sharp, Dr. Jeffrey Sharp (Gladys), Rene’ Duffourc IV (Mindy), Jacques Duffourc, Danielle Duffourc Kuntzsch (Matt), and Michelle Duffourc Langlinais (Brant). Also survived by eight great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents Josephine Esposito Greco and Anthony Greco. Marie will be missed by all who knew her. She was as outstanding wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be remembered for her sweet, caring personality, excellent cooking, and her beauty. She and her husband enjoyed many years of square dancing and traveling. The family appreciates and thanks the Poydras Home and Canon Hospice for their wonderful care. Private services will be held.
