Marie Palestina Rausch entered peacefully into heaven on Sunday, January 20, 2013, at Chateau Living Center in Kenner. Beloved wife of the late Emile D. Rausch. Loving mother of Judy Rausch Ferro and Karen Rausch. Grandmother of Gregory N. Ferro and Albert E. Ferro. Great grandmother of Gregory N. Ferro, Jr. and Tyler A. Ferro. Aunt to a host of nieces and nephews.

Daughter of the late Rose Mancuso Palestina and Vincent Palestina. Sister of Anthony and Louis Palestina and the late Pauline Petrotta and Antoinette Basile, Vincent, Dominick, Paul, Peter, Charles, Frank, Philip, Albert and Joseph Palestina.

Age 91, a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Harahan.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA 70001 on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at 11:00 am. Visitation from 9:30 am until Mass time. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery in New Orleans.
