Marie Waltz

Marie Kelly Waltz, a retired secretary for K&B drugstores, entered eternal life on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at the age of 90. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Mrs. Waltz was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 48 years Christian A. Waltz. Born and raised in the Irish Channel. She was a parishioner of St. Alphonsus and St. Mary’s Assumption Catholic churches. She was most recently a parishioner of Divine Mercy Catholic Church. Survivors include two sons, Chris Gerard (Kathy) and James Joseph (Ann) Waltz; a daughter, Sandra Waltz Pertuit (Frank); seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend Funeral Service at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home 4747 Veterans Blvd., Metairie on Monday, June 23, 2014 at 1:00pm. Visitation from 11:00am until time of service. Interment in Cypress Grove Cemetery.
