Marilyn Marie Micheu

Marilyn Marie Fabre Micheu, age 78, of Metairie, Louisiana passed away peacefully on October 12, 2025 surrounded by the love of her family. Born July 4, 1947, Marilyn brought light, laughter and warmth to everyone who knew her.

She was the beloved daughter of the late John McDonald Fabre and Marie Wells Fabre. Marilyn was a devoted and adored mother to Anthony “Buddy” Micheu (Lacie) and Lisa Marie Micheu Randolph (Danny) and a cherished Grandmother and Great Grandma to Danielle, Mallory, Bayley (Tyler), Daniel (Christina), Brandon, Lil’ Buddy and Connor, Bryson, Rowen, Brexx and Basyn. She is also survived by her sisters Sami Fabre Coleman and Kathy Fabre Dooley and her niece Kristin Dooley Ferrell.

Marilyn’s greatest passion was her family and friends with whom she shared countless memories, laughter and love. She had a generous spirit and a heart that welcomed everyone. Those blessed to know her will forever carry her in their hearts.

A service celebrating Marilyn’s life will be held at Leitz-Eagan in Metairie, LA. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of her life that was beautifully lived and a woman so deeply loved on Saturday, October 18, 2025 from 10am-Noon with a funeral service beginning at noon.

She will forever be in our hearts.
