Marion Theresa Taquino

Marion Theresa Albert Taquino entered into heaven on Sunday, June 26, 2011, with her loving family at her side. Devoted wife of George Noel Taquino of 53 years. Daughter of the late Harry Paul Albert and Marie Mable Toups Albert. Sister of Harry Joseph Albert and sister in law Hortencia Albert. She is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.

Marion was a former employee of Sears on Baronne and Common Streets in New Orleans for 27 years. Marion always showed her compassion and love for her animals.

The relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Thursday, June 30, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am until funeral time. Interment in Garden of Memories Cemetery. The family request flowers may be sent or memorial donations in her memory to the Louisiana SPCA, 1700 Mardi Gras Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70114.
