Martha Wilcox

Martha Jane Turgeau Wilcox, age 58, a beloved Maw Maw, Mom, Wife, Sister, and Aunt, went to Heaven on Sunday, March 23, 2014. She was born March 23, 1956, in New Orleans, LA, to the late Harry Paul Turgeau, Sr. and the late Theresa Marie Bourgeois Turgeau. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Glenn Ronald Wilcox, Jr. and by daughters Amy Wilcox Willmann (and husband Matthew) and Robin Wilcox Murray, and also by precious granddaughters, Lina and Lexi Murray. She is also survived by her brothers, Gus (Susan) Turgeau, Larry (Georgia) Turgeau, and Darryl (Kathy) Turgeau, and her sister, Judy (John) Bothman. She was preceded in death by her father and mother and brother Harry Paul Turgeau, Jr. "Marthie" will also be dearly missed by a host of treasured nieces and nephews, relatives, and friends. She was a New Orleans native who loved The Lord, her family, friends, the Saints, New Orleans, and it's traditions, culture, and food. As a daughter of the Most High King, we will see her again.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to the visitation and services at Leitz-Eagen Funeral Home at 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie, 70006 on Wednesday, March 26th from 6-8pm (visitation) and on Thursday, March 27th at 10am (visitation) with a service at 11am in the Chapel.
