Mary Jo Eckerman entered into eternal rest on Friday, July 5, 2024, at 6:00 AM. She was the beloved wife of John Eckerman and the loving mother of Kristine Elizabeth Eckerman. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Audrey LoCoco. Sister of Joan Lamonte, Judy Dalferes, Joyce Chifici, Jack LoCoco, and the late JoAnn Byrd and Joseph LoCoco.
Mary was deeply loved by her family and close friends. Her laugh was infectious and gave joy to many people who cherished her.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Catholic Funeral Service from the Chapel of Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd. in Metairie on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at 7:00 PM.
Visitation will begin at 3:30 PM. Interment will be private in Restlawn Memorial Park.
