Mary Katherine Hardy

Mary Katherine Hardy passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2010 at the age of 55 years. She was a loving daughter, mother, and grandmother. She will always be remembered for her radiant and beautiful smile. She was a resident of the metro area since 1966 and resided in Slidell since 2005. She loved her job where she helped clients with disabilities for over the past 15+ years. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Rebecca Ruth Hardy, and Janet L. Hardy. She is survived by, the love of her life, Kenneth J. Leach; son, Shane P. Stamm; daughter, Cara S. Barthe and husband, Matthew E. Barthe; and grandchildren, Evan and Sam; parents, Robert J. Hardy and Arlene J Hardy of San Antonio, TX.; brother, Robert Hardy and wife Adrianna of Longview, TX; sister, Jackie Oberholtzer and husband, Paul of San Antonio, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by family, a host of friends, and her beloved dog, Dakota. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at 11:00 AM.
