Mary Louise Lemoine

Mary Louise Meyer Kessel Lemoine passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family and friends on March 17, 2013 at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late Thelis J. Lemoine and by first marriage to the late David “Bill” Kessel. She is survived by her sister, Catherine Meyer Henry and her nephews, Michael (Yolanda) and Stephen (Dominique) Wessel and her great-nephews and niece, David, Amanda, Nicholas, Christopher and Benjamin Wessel. They were the pride of her life. Daughter of the late Alfred and Sarah Meyer.

She was a retired employee of the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Sales Tax Division. Lulu will be remembered for her ability to turn everyone she met into a friend. Her outgoing personality and laughter will live in our hearts forever.

A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Edward the Confessor Church in Metairie, LA on Monday, March 25, 2013 at 1:00 pm. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am. In her memory, contributions to the Cure JM Foundation, 836 Lynwood Dr., Encinitas, CA 92024 (or online) on behalf of Benjamin Wessel are preferred. Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp in charge of arrangements.
