Mary C. Lester passed away on Monday, July 30, 2012 at the age of 75. Mother of Louis L. Lester, III (Debbie Lester), Beth Durel (Charles J. Durel, Sr.) and Mikey Lehtonen (Lee Lehtonen). Grandmother of Rachel Michelle Hery (Jason Hery), Matthew Lester, Derek Lehtonen and Loren Lehtonen. Great grandmother of Colin Michael Hery and Emma Elizabeth Hery. Daughter of the late Louis Luby Pontiff and Rose Pontiff. Sister of Elise Peggy Gondolfo and the late Ray Pontiff and Roy Pontiff.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2012 at 11:00 am at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
