Mary Clare Norra

Mary Clare Norra, 89, passed away on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Laketown Assisted living in Kenner, LA. Mary Clare was born in New Orleans on December 5, 1931. She is preceded in death by her beloved parents Eugene Marcel Norra and Olivia Veronica Meyers Norra, her sister Earline Norra DeBlanc, her two brothers Earl Anthony Norra and Eugene Henry Norra.

Mary Clare is survived by 5 nieces and 7 nephews, Anne Norra Dyess, Earl (Chip) Norra Jr., Michael Norra, Robert Norra and Leslie Norra, Lisa DeBlanc Buel, Denise DeBlanc, Johnny Norra, Shelly Norra, Thomas Norra, Ronald Norra and Timothy Norra. She is also survived by several great and great-great nieces and nephews. All will dearly miss their Aunt Clare.

Clare was employed by the Consulate of Japan for 25 years as a prestigious secretary. She then changed careers and went into real estate servicing the greater New Orleans area.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, 3368 Esplanade Ave., New Orleans, LA 700119 on Tuesday, May 18,2021 at 12 noon. Burial will immediately follow at Our Lady’s Patio in Lake Lawn Mausoleum, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA. 70124.
