Mary Rose Boudreaux Borne passed away on Friday, June 1, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Olden J. Borne. Mother of Linda Borne Dieck (Benny Louviere) and Cynthia Borne Lopinto (Pete). Mother-in-law of Michael Gaubert. Grandmother of Michele G. Boudreaux (Brent), Mark Gaubert, Melissa G. Hebert (Jay), Matthew Gaubert (Jennifer), Melanie G. Hallum (Thurman), Jodi Dieck Cararas (Adam) and Gina L. Bonura (Sean). Also survived by 8 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, Nellie Berthelotte Boudreaux and Albert Boudreaux; brother, Ernest Boudreaux; sisters, Mabel B. Augustin and Beatrice B. Nelson; daughter, Sandra Gaubert and grandson Michael Gaubert, Jr. Mrs. Borne was 92 years old. She was a native of Labadieville, La and a resident of New Orleans and Metairie. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., near Clearview Pkwy., in Metairie, LA on Wednesday morning, June 6, 2018 beginning at 9:00 AM with a Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00 AM in Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home’s chapel. Graveside services and interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Thibodaux at 1:15 PM.
