Mary Louise Call Schmidt

Mary Call Schmidt, age 82, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, December 18, 2012. Beloved wife of the late John “Jack” E. Schmidt. Devoted mother of Cindy Guzman (Abraham). Loving grandmother of Rachel Guzman. Sister of Lloyd Call. Preceded in death by her parents, Gerard and Claire Call, her brother, Gerard Call and her sister, Claire Rita Daray. Also survived by step-children, step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Metairie, LA for 48 years. Mary retired as a machinist from American Can Company.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at 12:00 Noon. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
