Matthew Joel Eads passed on Sunday, October 4, 2026, Matthew died the way he lived: always laughing. Famously known as "Fatt Matt", he is survived by his father and mother, and three sisters. He loved so deeply and was always defending others. He brought so many people to Christ and was the light in every room he walked into. Matthew was 17 when he passed away.
Family and friend are invited to his Visitation that will be held at Celebration Church Kenner Campus, 3550 Williams Blvd, Kenner, LA 70065, on Sunday, October 11, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. followed by a service at 3:00 pm
Their will be a Repass held after at Celebration Church River Parish, 3400 US-51, Laplace, LA 70068 starting at 4:30 pm.
Burial will be at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, 11316 River Rd, Saint Rose, LA 70087, on Monday, October 12, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
