My Beautiful son, mommy misses you so very much. I've known you the longest by nine months and remember your beautiful face and I was so proud of you. It's been 6 yrs. Since that horrific day and mijo it still hurts so very much. A part of my heart is gone with you and I'll never get it back. There is no comfort in any of this. I'm a selfish mother who wants her son back in her arms. Please forgive me for this. I love and miss you horribly forevermore.

hey Scruffi :) i remember you would give me that funny smirk when i called you that! i love the memories of math class and during the summer when we played tackle football in the mud.. that was awesome. i still cant believe your gone.. i miss you so very much. you were the best boyfriend ever and always made me laugh. your advice was great and its still in my mind everyday.. when im introuble or need guy advice i just think hey what would scaruffi say? and i guess you put the words in my mind but they always turn out to be the right ones. i still cry over you but its getting better kinda. i love you sooo much! i cant wait to see you in heaven baby! i just want you to know your never forgotten i still wear your i.d around my neck and i write about you all the time. i have so many letters i wish you could read but for now i just visit your football locker.. gosh i miss seeing you there everyday when i had soccer. i miss your hugs and kisses and smart remarks haha. you still are my Rock and always will be. we have memories together that no oneelse does and im happy to say that. thank you for getting me on the right track. i still run for you and play for you but now my acl is torn and i found that out the same day you passed.. it was a very hard day for me i didnt even go to my classes because i was so mad and upset because you were my best friend my brother and you left but now your not suffering your in a better place and i wish i could join you now but i cant leave everbody just yet because the Lord hasnt called me to do so. but anyways me and D.J. are still dating i just wish you would give him advice on how to be cuddly haha. i love you soooo much Scaruffi and we all miss you. see you soon hun! Matt, ever since your wake I thought I would accept the fact that you're gone. I figured you were in a better place and I shouldn't worry about you and just try to forget crying about you all the time because when my time comes, I'll see you again. And I'll never forget you. But for some strange reason, today I began crying and thinking about you lately. I miss you a lot. And I wish you were here so I can talk to you about life. So we can laugh about everything and it would all just be fine. But unfortunately that won't happen for a long while. Everyone misses you and me and Heather talk about you almost everyday. I loved matt with all my heart. he was always so helpful and nice to everyone. He would've had no idea that he touched this many people. i miss him so much and i wish i could just get him back.i think about him all the time.. there still hasnt been one day that's past that i haven't thought about him.  i love you forever and always matthew louis scaruffi.

Scaruffi, he was my best friend. he was always there for me when i was in a time of need. he never let me down and was always by my side. we talked on the phone each night and had lots of fun memories in math class, we got in lots of trouble in mrs delaunes class but it was worth it. he was a great boyfriend to me when we dated and his hugs were everything. im glad the lord gave me the time i had with him. he made a true difference in my life. i realized that God saw matt could only take so much and life became much of a struggle for him so God took his child back with him to a peaceful heaven and Scaruffi is now with me every day no matter where i go. i love you Scaruffi you will always be my brother and best friend.. no one can replace you! His locker was right next to mine. We'd talk and joke. He was one of us, an outlaw. We worked had to give the starters a look. He gave them more then that. Im gonna miss him.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Everytime I saw Matt at school he always had a smile on his face. Whenever we'd pass each other going to class he would always come up to me and give me a hug.
