Maude B. Megison

Maude B. Megison, born on June 18, 1948, passed away on January 13, 2011 peacefully at her home. She is predeceased by her mother Madge Blackburn and her stepfather James H. Blackburn of Pass Christian, MS. She is also predeceased by her brother George Wheatley. She is survived by her husband Dr. John W. Megison and her sons Philip David, Jr. and Jamie M. David. She is also survived by her stepchildren, Analyn Grace Megison, Michael J. Megison and Mary Megison Latiolais. She has several grandchildren, Corinne E. David, Jace M. David, Alaraby Megison and Sebastion Megison. She was a loving and giving mother, wife and grandmother who will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.

A visitation will be held at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd., Metairie on Sunday, January 16, 2011 from 7:00 pm till 9:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at Vincent’s Funeral Home, 209 St. Charles St., Abbeville, LA on Monday, January 17, 2011 at 2:00 pm. Visitation from 12:00 noon until time of service in Abbeville. Interment will be at her husband’s ancestral cemetery in Esther, LA at St. James Chapel.
