Maunsel White Hickey, age 93, died at his residence on Monday, January 30, 2012 at 8:15 AM. Husband of Marcelle LeBlanc Hickey and preceded in death by his first wife Elizabeth Baldwin and his second wife Jane Bright. Father of Baldwin A. Hickey (Dee) of Charlotte , North Carolina , Adele Hickey McClintock of Pontchatoula, La. and David Alexander Hickey (Maclyn) of New Orleans, La. and the late Maunsel Michael White Hickey and Michelle Maunsel Hickey.Step-father of John A. Stassi of New Orleans , La., David A. Stassi of Snowmass , Colo. and Robert Matthew Stassi of Houston, Texas. Brother of the late John Hastings Hickey. Grandfather of Maunsel Hickey (Elizabeth) and Elizabeth Hickey Heyward (Duncan ) both of Richmond, Virginia, and Ninette Hickey of New Orleans, La. Step-grandfather of Joseph and Andrew Stassi of Prairieville, La., Susan and Sophia Stassi of Houston, Texas. Also survived by 2 great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 631 State Street on Friday, Feburary 3, 2012 at11:00 AM.
