Michael "Mike" Couvillion

God welcomed home Michael “Mike” Wayne Couvillion, 65 years old, of Harahan, LA, on March 27, 2022. He was born in Baton Rouge, LA, on November 12, 1956 and grew up with lifelong friends in the Airline Park neighborhood of Metairie, LA. He was married to the love of his life Patty Couvillion and enjoyed 20 beautiful years of doing everything together. Mike lived his life for his wife, children, grandchildren, and large extended family and most enjoyed entertaining them at his home. Mike was a faithful employee of Pellerin Milnor for 45 years, where he formed many relationships with his work family.

He is preceded in death by his parents James “Big Jim” and Doris Couvillion. He is survived by his adoring wife, Patricia Couvillion; beloved children, Cathryn Couvillion (Matthew Tusch), Clinton Couvillion (Erika Malone), John Ward (Amy), Jimmy Ward (Kayla), Jason Ward, and Jana Ward; loving grandchildren, Jeremy, Brenna, Payten, Emily, Audrey, Andrew, Alina, Jackson, and Kennedy; loving big brothers, Tommy Couvillion and Lewis “Jay” Couvillion Sr. (Carol); cherished nephew, Jay Couvillion Jr. (Vicki) and niece, Stacy Royer; dearly loved cousins with treasured childhood memories; mother-in-law Rosalie Aucoin; brothers and sisters-in-law, Erby Aucoin III (deceased), Jayne Dominique, Cindy Phillips (Brian, deceased), Albert Aucoin (Janis), Deidre Bensimon, Douglas Aucoin (Angela), and Michelle Stieffel (Frank); Fionn and Melanie Casey; and numerous other nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 8, 2022; Visitation 10:00 AM - Noon at St. Mary Magdalen Church and a Mass beginning at Noon. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 6425 W. Metairie Ave, Metairie, LA 70003.
