Michael Damien Jackson

Michael Damien Jackson entered into eternal rest, surrounded by family, on Monday, August 16, 2021 at the age of 64. A native and lifelong resident of Norco, LA, Michael’s entire career was served proudly in local law enforcement. Michael is the former husband of Rhonda LeBlanc Hebert and is preceded in death by his parents Veda Tridico Jackson and Charles Percy Jackson, Sr. He is the father of Michelle Jackson Higgins (Michael) and Christy Jackson Zurcher (Eric) and the brother of Charles Percy Jackson, Jr. (Phyllis), Lisa Jackson Macaluso (Johnny), Veda Jackson Dawson (Ronnie), and Mary Jackson Naquin (Barry). He is the grandfather of Ethan Charles Higgins, Reid William Higgins, and Seth Eric Zurcher and is survived by many nieces and nephews. Michael’s family wishes to express their deep gratitude to the staff of Ormond Nursing and Care Center for their loving support. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 13396 River Road in Destrehan, on Monday, August 23, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. Visitation will take place from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the Church’s mausoleum.
