Michael David McCroskey

Michael David McCroskey age 39 passed away Sunday, April 21, 2013. He was born on April 30, 1973 in New Iberia, LA. He was the son of Patricia Moity Casey and Thomas Albert McCroskey, Sr. He is survived by his mother and stepfather Leonhard E. Casey of New Orleans, LA., his brother Thomas McCroskey and his nieces Emily and Allison McCroskey of Richmond, TX., his grandmother Velma Richard Moity of New Iberia, LA and his stepsister Rachel Casey Iturralde of New Orleans, La. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Gilbert M. McCroskey, paternal grandmother Celine Boutte McCroskey, and his maternal grandfather Warren J. Moity.

He attended North Lewis Elementary School and Catholic High School in New Iberia, LA. He served his country with a two year deployment in the Navy. He graduated from Baton Rouge Culinary Institute and cooking was his passion. A memorial mass will be held at 3:00 P.M.
