Michael Wayne Snowden

Beloved son of the late Joseph and Lillian Barnes Snowden. Brother of Michelle Andrea Snowden. Nephew of Donald M. and Patrice Howell Barnes. Cousin of Veatrice and Don E. Snowden of San Diego, CA., Dr. Tamara H. Lewis (B. Neil) of Albany GA. Best friend of Kevin D. Brown and L. Karl Scott. God-father of Skylar Pierre, Jamie R. Scott, Micah J. Brown and Leilani S. Davis.

Preceded in death by his Grandparents David B. and Willie Lee Barnes, Oscar and Alma L. Snowden. Uncle and Aunt Emry O. and Estelle Snowden. Mr. Snowden was a parishioner of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Catholic Church, and a member of the Holy Name Society. Special thanks for the care given by DaVita Uptown Dialysis at Touro Hospital Nurses, staff and patients who were like family. Thanks for the prompt and dependable Transportation provide by Crawford Transit Services, Inc., especially Mr. & Mrs. Tony Crawford and their son, Antonio Crawford for ensuring that Michael got up the stairs and into our home safely on those days he was weak.

I will eternally be grateful for all the LOVE and KINDNESS that has been outpoured by anyone who knew and loved Mike.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral Mass from Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, 4230 S. Broad on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at 11:00 a.m.

Interment in St. Vincent #2 Soniat St. Visitation on Tuesday, November 30 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Blessed Trinity Catholic Church.
