Miriam Mancuso Schubert

Miriam Mancuso Schubert passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at the age of 91. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 40 years, Jules Louis Schubert, Sr., beloved son Jay Paul Schubert, parents, Frank Mancuso, Jr., Mildred Josephine Booth and step-father Ralph Rizzuto.

She is survived by her children, Jules L. Schubert, Jr. (Karen) and Joy Schubert Sampson. Also survived by loving grandchildren: Debbie Soileau (Bruce), David Snell (Suzanne), Donald Snell (Wendy), Julie Grenuk (Joe), Todd Schubert (Martha) and Jamie Tyler (Bob). Proud great-grandmother of Dylan Soileau, Gabby Snell, Madeline Snell, Jack Snell, Lindsey Snell, Bryan Snell, Andrew Snell, and Angel Blanchard. Also survived by devoted niece Rhea Schubert Thomas.

Miriam was a member of the Suburban Woman’s Club, and past member of the Elenian Club, Charity Crib Auxiliary, and the Social 20 Club.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie, LA on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at 9:00 am followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
