Myrna Miljak

Myrna Joy Miljak passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2011. Beloved companion of Gerald J. Jeandron, Sr. Wife of the late Marion Joseph Miljak of Empire, LA. Born in Chicago, IL to Robert Fullerton and Manya Nawrocki. Her adoptive mother is Helen Velinski and sister Karen (Dominic) Colonna. She is the loving aunt of Cheryl Moran. Great aunt of Candi Ann Moran and Derek De Men. Myrna had numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins from the Nawrocki side of her family. Everyone who knew Myrna became family, all of whom will miss her deeply. Myrna lived life to the fullest and never let a party pass her by. She traveled throughout the United States playing numerous venues including Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey Circus. Her travels are documented in the book entitled “Two Million Mile Drive” by Bob Garber. Everyone who knew Myrna knows, “She’s Still Dancing.”

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd., Metairie on Monday, April 18, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. Visitation from 9:00 a.m until time of service.
