

Natalie Doris Brown-a devoted wife, mother, daughter, and sister succumbed to breast cancer at the age of 45. She is survived by her husband, Joel Brown, of 22 years and their three daughters, Ruth (19 years old), Sarah (15), and Rebecca (11). Natalie is also survived by her parents, Lila and Norman Millen, her sister Jennifer (Alan), nieces (Rachel and Simone), and nephew (Mark), as well as her mother-in-law Sue Rae (Ken), sister-in-law Miriam (Rob), and nephews (Richard and Jacob). Natalie kept very busy with her husband at work, Kosher Cajun Deli and Grocery-a business they built together over 24 years ago. Natalie was a women of valor. She was very active in her synagogue, Chabad Center of Metairie and celebrated many joyous occasions there. The family would like to personally thank Natalie’s oncologist, Dr. Laura Brinz, and the whole staff of doctors and nurses, who through this terrible battle, helped her live every day to its fullest. To all of Natalie’s family and friends-especially her best friend, Cindy, who was there for her and for the family through it all-a heartfelt thank you.
