Nieves “Nev” Christopher Cantu, of Kenner, LA, passed away on Friday, August 9, 2013 at the age of 46. He is survived by his beloved wife of 24 years, Traci Davis Cantu; his sons, Damian C. Cantu and Jeromy N. Cantu; his parents, Joann Cantu and Nieves Cantu; his sisters, Denise Madsen, Joann Textor and Yvonne Cantu; his brother, Jerome Cantu and his first expectant grandchild. Nev was a devoted, loving family man who cherished being a dedicated husband and a positive father figure to his sons. He was also a loving uncle to his nephews and nieces. He was loved and will be truly missed, especially by his family.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Service on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie. Visitation will begin at 12:00 pm.
