Ninoska “Nina” Kattan passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving husband, Perry T. Custer Jr., and children Jose Alfredo Sanabria and Ana Carolina Sanabria. Grandmother of Joseph Hawit, 12, Angelo Hawit, 10, and Tatiana Castillo, 3. Daughter of the late Alfredo Kattan and Thelma Dacosta Gomez de Kattan. Sister of the late Alfredo Kattan. Nina was a native of San Pedro Sula, Honduras, and has resided in the New Orleans Area for over 35 years. She started working at the New Orleans airport for SAHSA Airlines, and opened a travel agency with her dear friend Maria Lobo in the early 1990s. Nina was a “walking encyclopedia” who always enjoyed meeting new people and learning their backgrounds. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend her Memorial Service from LEITZ-EAGAN Metairie, 4747 Veterans Memorial Boulevard, on Tuesday afternoon, December 27, 2016 at 3:00.
