Norma F. Ferrer

native of Raceland, LA and resided in Metairie for many years prior to moving to Diamondhead,

MS to be near her son. She was retired from the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Allence Falgout and Velma Matherne

Falgout of Raceland, her husband, Norman (Bud) Ferrer, and her siblings, Rudolph Audrey

Falgout and his wife, Gertrude, Allence Falgout Jr., and Gail Falgout Margiotta, and her husband

Mariano. She is survived by her son, Byron Landry and his wife, Nancy, of Diamondhead, MS,

her brother Carlton (Bubby) Falgout and his wife, Ann, of Broussard, LA, and her

grandchildren, Jennifer Casanova (Roger) of Destrehan, LA and Ryan Landry (Claudia) of

Parker, CO. She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Marcella Casanova, London

Landry, Natalia Casanova and Layton Landry in addition to many nieces and nephews, and great

nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank special family friend, Christine Wallace and the staff of Notre

Dame Hospice, Susan, Shema, Terrance, and Cindy, her caregiver, Sheena Carco, and the staff of

Woodlands Village Nursing Center.

Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Friday, September 24, 2021 from 10:00

AM until Mass time at Leitz Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd, Metairie, LA.

Mass time is 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at a later date.
