I remember the day I met My Sweet Potato Pam over 30 years ago.  I was stunned by her outward beauty and charm and never expected that her beauty would run so deep.  I was fortunate enough to be a part of the Stoll family many years ago.  I loved you all and never expected to develop such a strong bond with the family, particularly Ms. Joyce, Lisa and Pam.  I was away for a long time and when I finally returned to New Orleans this year, I had the good fortune of reconnecting with Pam.  We spent hours catching up, laughing and telling the stories of our lives while we had been apart.  We picked up right where we left off and I was excited to have rediscovered my long lost sister.

Like all of you, I feel the pain of losing our beloved Pam.  I am feeling what you are feeling right now and am praying for all of you, my family of the heart.  I hope that the happy memories we all share of Pam will sustain us through this difficult time.

Pam, you weren't only beautiful on the outside, but you had internal beauty as well.  Kindness, warmth, compassion, empathy are just a few that were obvious.  It's been said that a nice person is someone u feel comfortable to be with, someone who offers help willingly without expecting anything in return...all in all...they are someone worth to be called a friend.   Although we didn't stay in touch over the years, I will always remember you this way.  You were always kind and supportive to me and I will never forget those qualities that were evident of you.  I send my deepest condolences to the Stoll family.  My heart goes out to all of you, in particular, Ms. Joyce, Charlie, Steve, Lisa, Chris, Joseph and nieces and nephews. Chris, Joseph, I hope that you remember me from way back when you were children.  I know that no words can describe the sorrow that you must be feeling.
