

Patricia Beauvais Mott was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Adam C. Mott, and her parents, Evelyn G. Beauvais and Hewitt Beauvais.
She is survived by her loving children, Eva Mott Hughes and Arthur A. Mott Jr. (Claire); her cherished grandchildren, Lindsay Smith Kuhn (Billy), Ethan Mott (Jessica), Tyler Mott, and Brittany Matveev; and her adored great-grandchildren, William Kuhn, Remi Kuhn, Owen Mott, Amelie Mott, and Jean-Luc Mott. She is also survived by her beloved pet, Phantom.
Patricia had many gifts and passions throughout her life. She loved cooking and took great pride in having one of her recipes featured in The Times-Picayune after earning second place in its annual cooking contest. She was also a talented gardener, floral arranger, painter, and crafter—truly a “Jack of all trades.”
Her love for children guided her to a long and fulfilling career as a nanny, where she touched many young lives with kindness and care.
