Patricia Ann Strada Olivard Baze

Patricia Ann Strada Olivard Baze went peacefully surrounded by family to join her parents in Heaven on Friday, June 20, 2014. Patricia, a native of New Orleans, LA, was born on September 1, 1941. She was the daughter of the late Charles F. Strada and Edwina Gough Strada. Wife of the late Steve Olivard by first marriage and the late Homer Baze by second marriage. Sister of the late Larry Strada. She is survived by 4 children, Steven, Tammy, Linda and Curtis, 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Patricia was very talented and loved making crafts and crocheting. She loved to laugh, dance, play bingo and do jigsaw puzzles. She will be greatly missed. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd., near Clearview Pkwy., in Metairie, LA on Wednesday morning, June 25, 2014 beginning at 9:00 AM with a funeral service to follow at 10:00 AM in Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home’s chapel. Interment will be in Cypress Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
